Norton Straw appoints Dr Edward Kay as Senior Engineer

In the continued growth of Norton Straw Consultants, Dr Edward Kay has joined as Senior Engineer, adding to our advanced fluid mechanics and thermal engineering capability.  Edward was previously Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham and spent three years in the School of Mathematical Sciences at their campus in the city of Ningbo, China.  During this period he was active in fluid mechanics simulation research and authored several journal papers in this field.

Edward has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham. Here he developed a mathematical model for predicting the flow and heat transfer in these engine components.
