Well, he’s actually been here for a while helping us out but he’s decided that he likes it and he’s going to become a permanent employee. Naturally, we’re thrilled to have him, and many people reading this will be familiar with his immense expertise in the fields of structural and mechanical integrity. For those who don’t, Andy’s many years of experience encompass skills such as weld residual stress analysis, high-temperature creep, nuclear integrity, heat exchanger tube failure, and pressure vessel assessment.
Norton Straw Projects Director Simon Rees said “It’s terrific to have Andy with us. I worked with him for many years and couldn’t be happier to have enticed him to join Norton Straw. People like him are hard to find, with his excellent record of delivering challenging integrity analysis projects”.
Andy himself added “I’ve really enjoyed the time I’ve spent here and I’m really happy to make the move permanent. I’m working with some terrific people on interesting and challenging projects in an open and supportive environment. Becoming a full-time member of the team was an easy decision”.
